Co-Op Survival Horror Whisper Mountain Outbreak Out Now In Early Access

Shout it out loud to your friends, Whisper Mountain Outbreak is out now in Early Access.

Developed by Toge Productions (of Coffee Talk and Kriegsfront Tactics fame), this is a multiplayer co-op survival horror game but not in the same mould as the many multiplayer co-op horror games labelled as “friendslop”. Less Phasmophobia, more Resident Evil Outbreak but with a top-down isometric camera perspective.

As an agent of the Bureau Of Research & Investigation of Metaphysics (BRIM), you and your friends (up to 4 player multiplayer co-op) must investigate what lies under Mount Bisik, the eponymous Whisper Mountain. Bisik is the Indonesian/Malay word for whisper.

Each agent can take on a specialisation, and work together to survive the horrors within. Players can stick together or split up, and expect to engage in combat, manage limited resources and most importantly, puzzle solve.

Good news is, you don’t have to convince three other friends to pay for Whisper Mountain Outbreak. The game has a free Friend Pass which allows players who don’t own the full game to join a party with someone who has by sharing a Room Code. Friend Pass players can experience the full game this way, though they can’t unlock achievements, Steam Trading Cards and earn any unlockables this way.

Whisper Mountain Outbreak is out now on PC via Steam Early Access.
