Indie games with local co-op are getting more in vogue these days. And if you are looking for that experience, you can add one more title to your radar.
My Father My Son is a 2.5 puzzler by indie devs BlinkClick Games. As the name implies, you control a father and his son. Either shared between two players in co-op play (with keyboard and gamepad support). Or play solo and control them together ala Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons (or for an even deeper cut of an example, The Adventures Of Cookie And Cream).
Together, they are castaways after a shipwreck landed them on a mysterious island. There will be puzzle sequences where the pair will work together, and also action sequences as well. Expect some father and son drama to unfold as you discover what secrets lie in the island.
My Father My Son is still in development, and is targeting a PC release in 2022, with console ports to follow
