Circuit De La Sarthe Coming To Gran Turismo Sport Alongside Nine New Cars, More

The long-anticipated track has arrived

The track Gran Turismo fans have been clamouring for a return in Gran Turismo Sport has finally arrived. Circuit de la Sarthe will be added to track list just in time for the 24 Hours Of Le Mans endurance race coming in June 16th.

The long track will come in two variants- chicanes and no chicanes. Alongside that, nine new cars, previously teased last week, will also appear. Three of them had competed in Le Mans in Group C.

The cars are:

  • Fiat 500 F ’68
  • Jaguar XJR-9 ’88
  • Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 ’67
  • Sauber Mercedes C9 ’89
  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR ’96
  • Nissan R92CP ’92
  • Renault Sport Megane Trophy ’11
  • Renault Sport Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy ’16
  • Subaru BRZ S ’15

Thankfully, the Group C cars (the Jaguar, Nissan and Sauber Mercedes) are in Gr.1, which makes it eligible for the many class-based races in Sport Mode. Speaking of Sport Mode, you can now manually set your primary and secondary region which will group your rankings.

In addition, there will also be three new events in the GT League single-player mode, more Scapes (photo mode locations) in Circuit de la Sarthe and a Circuit Experience event for the Dragon Trail Gardens track released last month.

The update should be live tomorrow, May 30th after 2PM Malaysian time.
