Here’s a fascinating mix of themes: Mythical heroes fighting from the top-down view… but with the ability to shift into turbo.
Champion Shift, by indie developer team SRG Studios, is that. An action roguelike (part Vampire Survivors-like/Bullet Heaven, part ARPG) where you take control of mythical heroes like Athena, Sun Wukong and Gilgamesh. And they have the ability to change into their car forms. Auto attack is on by default, but if you want more control and play it more like an ARPG, you can manually aim your attacks.
Champion Shift also features co-op for up to 4 players.
Champion Shift has a demo now available as part of Steam Next Fest. The game will launch into Early Access on PC (Steam) later this February.
