Another new update is now live for Borderlands 3. Patch 5 adds support to the upcoming Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot DLC and fixes two big issues: Guardian Rank sometimes disabled despite already unlocked and fast traveling to Sanctuary III.
As for the dreaded UI performance, it’s still being improved on, with better performance for the Inventory and Guardian Rank tabs. Issues on the thumbnail images not displaying correctly are also addressed. And Mayhem Mode icons now have numbers so it’s easy to see at a glance.
One more location gets more vending machines, this time is Skywell-27.
Also, there is now a Hotfix Menu so you can see if a hotfix is applied or not. Hotfixes are downloaded and stored in temporary memory each time the game is booted up. Now there’s a better way to know if it really is applied. Plus, at this time, the menu gets a bit festive once hotfixes are applied.
