Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Passes 1 Million Sales Milestone, Shares 2020 Content Roadmap

The spiritual successor to Castlevania, Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night, has surpassed 1 million units sold, publisher 505 Games announced.

The creator of Castlevania and Bloodstained, Koji Igarashi, thanks fans and the community for enabling the team at ArtPlay to achieve this milestone.

Also, game will still be getting more free content and features throughout 2020, some of which were stretch goals from the original Kickstarter campaign.

Boss Revenge mode is one of those- the final $5.5 million USD stretch goal. You can play as four of the game’s bosses and defeat the heroes.

There will also be a Chroma Wheel, essentially a full colour wheel to colour your character in any combination you like, no more using preset colour pallets. This can be accessed by speaking to Todd the Barber.

Boss Revenge and Chroma Wheel will hit PS4, PC and Xbox One on June 23, with Nintendo Switch players getting it in July this year.

The two features are part of a broader 2020 development roadmap. Expect to see more modes, two crossover content and at least one more playable character coming throughout the year.

Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Switch. The game is available in Southeast Asia published by H2 Interactive.
