Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night is the Metroidvania game from Koji Igarashi’s ArtPlay with support from WayForward. The game is getting a new, free, update.
Called the Zangetsu/Randomizer update lets you play through the whole game as the sword-wielding Zangetsu, voiced by David Hayter. But you need to unlock him first by finishing the game with the good ending.
Playing as Zangetsu has a twist- it’s the same campaign with all the same enemies, but there will be no consumables, equipment, crafring, treasure chests or quests.
There is also the Randomizer mode. As the name implies, all various things and location will be randomized, making it a whole new way to experience Bloodstained.
The Zangetsu/Randomizer update is live now on PS4, PC and Xbox One, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this month.
