Black Desert SEA Reworks 17 Classes In Latest Update

Pearl Abyss’ ongoing MMORPG Black Desert is getting a massive update today. The update brings in the Winter Season server, but also a massive list of 17 classes (of the available 23) is getting a rework. Or as the developers refer to it as, a reboot.

The 17 classes affected have many of their skills readjusted with the goal of providing efficient PvE between them all. PvP damage will be adjusted as well, and is currently undergoing testing in the Global Lab.

In addition, some of the classes are now sporting a new default look, some featuring new hair, a new face and a new outfit.

The rebooted classes, taken from the patch notes, are the following:

  • Warrior
  • Ranger
  • Sorceeress
  • Berserker
  • Tamer
  • Musa
  • Maehwa
  • Valkyrie
  • Kunoichi
  • Ninja
  • Wizard
  • Witch
  • Dark Knight
  • Striker
  • Mystic
  • Lahn
  • Archer

The rest of the classes (Shai, Guardian, Hashashin, Nova, Sage, Corsair) also received some improvements, but nothing to the scale of the rebooted classes.

During this period (until January 19), copying items from tagged characters will only cost 1 Marni’s Unstable Fuel, allowing players to try out different character classes by making new characters- and equip a copy of the gear set from your main character you have in your account.

Black Desert will also be getting up to 70% discount for its game packages on the official site and on Steam until January 5, as well as an upcoming Steam Free Weekend for those looking to give this MMORPG that continues to be updated a go.
