Black Desert, the MMORPG from Pearl Abyss has announced that its console versions will continue to be supported to the next generation.
Players on PS4 and Xbox One will receive free next-gen upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version.
Moreover, PS5 and Xbox Series players have cross-play, so you can play in one server regardless of which console you have.
Black Desert on PS5 and Xbox Series supports faster loading times and 120fps support alongside 4K resolution graphics.
The current console version also just received an update, adding the Guardian class. This was added on PC back in January, but now console players can get finally play as them.
Black Desert is also receiving a new Prestige Edition, which includes a new Prestige Edition Pet Black Leopard, Glorious Shudad Premium Set, and 2000 Pearls. Black Desert Prestige Edition will be available in digital and, for the first time, physical form, on November 6 for Asia, North America, and Europe.
