SNK continues to roll out its character reveals for The King Of Fighters XV, and this week is for the one we’ve known already. The slick and tall-haired Benimaru Nikaido is here in his electrifying glory.

But remember the statement by Creative Director Eisuke Ogura about how the team composition in KOF XV will be different? This third character reveal completes the first new team reveal: Team Hero, comprising of new poster-boy Shun’ei, sleepyboy Meitenkun and Benimaru.
Of course, you should still be able to mix-and-match your 3-person team in this 3v3 fighting game instalment. But canon-wise, this is the new protagonist team for KOF XV.
Story-wise, Benimaru is watching over Shun’ei and Meitenkun in this tournament. He’s forced to do so by his friend, rival and old teammate Kyo Kusanagi.
Expect to see more character and team reveals until The King Of Fighters XV releases later this year.
