ASUS has revealed its new affordable gaming laptop lineup, the ASUS TUF FX504. ASUS TUF is a new line from the manufacturer focusing on affordable gaming laptop. The FX504, the first under this new brand, will feature the 8th-gen Intel Coffee Lake processors.
Paired with at most an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti, This confirmed that it should be competing in the affordable gaming laptop range of around RM5000, though ASUS Malaysia has yet to announce its price at the moment nor when it will be available.
The FX504 also uses a 1TB FireCuda solid-state hybrid disk (SSHD) which ASUS claims to load games twice as fast as a 1TB 5400rpm hard disk. Given that a 5400rpm is a slog for not just loading games, but to run Windows 10, this sounds like a welcome change of pace.
