The ASUS ROG Zephyrus was a pretty slim gaming laptop with an Nvidia GTX 1080. Now ASUS has made a new version and somehow made it even more slimmer.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus S is only 14.95~15.75mm thin, compared to the original’s already slim 16.9-17.9mm. The 15.6-inch screen now has a refresh rate of 144Hz instead of 120Hz. The forward keyboard is still in tact and its proprietary cooling solution, the “Active Aerodynamic System”, with five heat pipes and a lower chassis that expands once the lid is open, remains.
The Zephyrus S comes in two variants- the GX531GS and GX531GM which trades the GTX 1080 for a GTX 1070 Max-Q and a GTX 1060 respectively.
