Revealed at CES 2019 recently, ASUS Malaysia are bringing the new Nvidia GeForce RTX-powered laptops to the country.
This comes by way of the ROG Strix II, which is available in two forms, ROG Strix SCAR II and ROG Strix Hero II. SCAR is geared for FPS games with highlighted WASD keys while the Hero is designed for MOBAs with highlighted QWER keys and less power.
The ROG Strix Hero II is available in one variant only in Malaysia (GL504G-VES044T) and is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060. The ROG Strix SCAR II has three variants, with a choice of 15.6″ or 17″ screen, and a choice of either the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or RTX 2070.

This is the first brand to unveil the pricing of Nvidia GeForce RTX-powered laptops in Malaysia. As expected it’s on the premium side of things. So if you want to try out the new ray tracing and AI-powered graphics optimisation via DLSS on a gaming laptop, it will cost you.
