Kunos Simulazioni will be on site at the 2025 Crowdstrike 24 Hours Of Spa at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium next weekend, from June 26-29.
Folks attending one of the most famous, and gruelling, GT3-class 24-hour endurance next weekend will get to take a test drive on an upcoming build of Assetto Corsa Evo. Update 0.3 of the Early Access game will be available on-site, with the chance to try out the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, one of the race cars that will be added in this update. It’s also one of the many GT3 cars fans will see racing in Spa that same weekend.
This is part of the 2025 Spa 24-Hour Hot Lap Challenge. Anyone can attempt this, free participation, and all you do is set the fastest time on the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, no tuning allowed as everyone will run the lap with just a stock setup.
Fastest time walks home with a Fanatec Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3, while podium finishers in second and third will be receiving official merch from BMW Motorsport as a prize. The first 400 to attempt the hot lap challenge will also get a limited-edition Assetto Corsa Evo T-shirt, and everyone participating will enter a Fantatec prize draw for another one of the Podium Steering Wheel.
Marco Massarutto and Davide Brivio of Kunos Simulazioni will also be on-site for interviews, meet-and-greets and to chat with fans and media.
The Assetto Corsa series has always have strong ties to motorsport, so to see Assetto Corsa Evo having its first on-site event on a racetrack rather than a gaming convention is no surprise. The series has a long partnership with now the GT World Challenge series through Assetto Corsa Competizione, which the 24-hour race in Spa is a part of.
Assetto Corsa Evo is out now in Early Access on PC (Steam), with more updates coming. The next update, 0.3 will add new cars like the BMW M4 GT3, the Red Bull Ring track and the first pass of online multiplayer.
