Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was supposed to be launching on November 17. Ubisoft has announced that’s not the case, but also not a delay.
Rather, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch one week early on November 10 to coincide the release of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
The new release date is for all versions except the PS5 (which has an unknown release date yet), so it’s also November 10 for the PS4, PC and Stadia.
It’s a good move, considering its original launch date was really, really close to another big open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. For next-gen console early adopters, and those that plan to play both games, this is a great move.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has you play as Eivor, a viking raiding the shores of England during the dark ages. It continues the the core gameplay seen in the previous entries of Odyssey and Origins- and open-world action-RPG first, stealth and being an assassin second. Though you do get the classic hidden blade this time.
