Ubisoft has rolled a nat-20 as the latest update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Update 1.0.6, adds a new crossover content.
After a surprise collab with Dead By Daylight, time it’s with the folks at Critical Role, the troupe of tabletop RPG players as seen on YouTube.
The Assassins’ Creed X Critical Role collab sees progratonist Yasuke and Naoe meeting a new ally, Rufino. This is voice actor Robbie Daymond’s character and as you would expect, he lends his voice to his OC in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Outside of Critical Role, you may have heard of Daymond in his roles as Chai in Hi-Fi Rush, Prompto in Final Fantasy XV and Akechi in Persona 5.
Rufino can be recruited, with new side quests available once he’s at the hideout.
Alongside the crossover content, Assassin’s Creed Shadows Update 1.0.6 also has a few additional features. This includes headgear appearing in cutscenes, a new Ultra Low setting on PC designed for machines with less powerful GPUs and a new Regional Alert System. Attacking civilians and military units outside of castles now has consequences as guardians are prepared to hunt players across the open world.
