A new Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon trailer just dropped, showcasing the vibes to expect from the upcoming mecha shooter by From Software, published by Bandai Namco.
The non-gameplay trailer showcases a group of Armored Core pilots on a mission, where one by one they fall. Only one pilot survived, barely, Pilot C4-621.
The remnant of the damaged AC, with lost appendages and kneeling down, is reminiscent of the boxart cover for AC VI, though not necessarily similar.
And the remnants of the squad, as in the sole survivor from the mission, is given a reason to exist, being patched up in some harrowing and borderline horrific imagery. And that is.. to go to work. That’s the life of a mercenary working for corporations on planet Rubicon 3.
The trailer also showcased a few of the armaments you arm your Armored Core with. Prominently seen here is a minigun for a right-arm weapon, and a shield projection equipped from the back unit.
Previously, glimpses of AC VI gameplay were shown at Summer Game Fest 2023.
Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon releases on August 25 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
