Acer Showcases Monitors During Announcement For Acer Day 2025

Acer has announced a new line of monitors as part of their recent Acer Day Celebration, which also coincides with their 35th anniversary of business within the Asia Pacific. This new line of monitors, one of which is part of their gaming Predator and Nitro divisions, encompasses the start of their celebrations for its ninth consecutive year, which kicks off at Kota Bharu, Kelantan, on July 24.

The Acer Predator X27U X2 is their latest monitor which includes a WQHD Quantum Dot OLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440, with a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and staggering 1,500,000:1 contrast ratiothat will enable a spectrum of vibrant, true-to-life colours.

It also features a hyper-responsive 240Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.03ms response time. Furthermore, AMD FreeSync Premium Technology synchronizes the monitor with the graphics card to eliminate screen tearing and deliver buttery-smooth gameplay with zero distractions.

The Predator X27U X2 will support both HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort input, that will effortlessly connect to their PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, or PC without issue. Along with an ErgoStand design allows users to swivel, pivot, and adjust the screen’s height for optimum comfort. Meanwhile, Acer VisionCare with Blue Light Shield Pro will help reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions, and more comfortable extended play.

The Predator X27U X2 gaming monitor is priced at RM1,999, and is now available on their Acer eStores, Shopee and Lazada storefronts.

Then we have Acer’s new EK1 series that’s bringing high refresh rate monitors to the masses. 

This monitor series combines a fluid 144Hz refresh rate and a rapid 1ms (VRB) response time to deliver incredibly smooth and blur-free visuals, complemented by AMD FreeSync technology that eliminates screen tearing and stuttering while the Full HD IPS panel delivers the vibrate colors accurately.

With their ZeroFrame bezel for seamless multi-monitor setups, the Acer EK1 series is equipped with Acer VisionCare technologies and an ergonomic stand for comfortable viewing height. It even has built-in speakers for added convenience.

The EK1 series are available immediately on the Acer eStore, Acer’ s store on both Shopee and Lazada, and authorized resellers all over the country with three models:

• EK241YP6 – 23.8-inch monitor priced at RM359

• EK251QP6 – 24.5-inch monitor priced at RM379

• EK271P6 – 27-inch monitor priced at RM429

And from 24 July to 9 September, customers who purchase an EK1 Series monitor will get complimentary Acer Wireless Optical Mouse worth RM69.

As for the acer day celebrations, with promotions and activities starting on July and last until September, it will include carnivals, a pickleball tournament, roadshows, flash sales, exclusive discounts and rewards worth up to RM835,350 and held in 17 different locations with their main event being the Acer Day 2025 Roadshow, held at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya from 14 to 24 August.
