During their recent event, Acer announced that they are partnering with car-marker Porsche’s luxury brand, aptly named Porsche Design, in creating a high-end notebook.
The Acer Book RS is a carbon fibre laptop with specs that are quite admirable in the market. With the choice of a Intel 11th Gen Core i5 and i7 CPU, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and either 512GB or 1TB of storage. The choices of graphics are either Intel’s own Iris X internal GPU or Nvidia’s discreet GeForce MX350 GPUs.
Best part is, all of their laptop designs are following the superleggera (super light in Italian) car concept, being only 1.25 kgs in both editions.
Acer also includes a Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS, which is made in durable leather and includes a carbon fibre mouse for good measure.
The Acer Book RS starts at USD 1,399 (5,800 MYR), with the premium package, that includes the Travel pack and carbon fibre mouse, will set you back USD 1,999 (8,294 MYR).
