A Team Of Malaysian And Singaporean Players Will Compete In FIFA Online 3’s Premier Event

The free-to-play version of EA’s ubiquitous football game, FIFA Online 3, isn’t just all fun and games. There is a strong competitive scene surrounding it. There are also official esports tournaments, with the biggest one being the EA Champions Cup that is scheduled to be held from July 21 to 23 in Guangzhou, China.

12 teams will compete at the EA Champions Cup with up to $330,000 USD worth of prize pool up for grabs. There will be three teams from Korea, four from hosts China and one European team consisting of FIFA 17 players. The remaining four represents Southeast Asia which are TNP (Thailand), Vietnam Dragons (Vietnam), Indonesia MVP (Indonesia) and, making its championship debut, SAM Elites of Singapore and Malaysia.

The team of four players have proven themselves to be the best in the Singapore and Malaysia server from the qualifier events. The players of SAM Elites are Aaron ‘FlashJ0K3R’ Gomez, Darren ‘FlashRJ’ Gan, Ajim ‘zFeedMeMore’ Hakim and Jaron ‘SyncxJaron’ Lim.

Singapore and Malaysian players have been sharing the same server for FIFA Online 3 as well as having collaborated in local tournaments and grassroots programs. The formation of SAM Elites further cements the two countries bond when it comes to FIFA Online 3.

We wish the best of luck for SAM Elites as they head down to China this weekend.
