Put your rumours and speculation hat on for this one. A new Alien game may be revealed at the upcoming Game Awards show.
The Game Awards showrunner Geoff Keighly has been teasing the awards show with cryptic tweets. “Worlds Will Change” seems to be the message, with the font design reminiscent of the Alien movies. And there’s a big W over on this tweet. In the Alien universe, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation has a big W as its logo with the slogan “Building Better Worlds”.

Recently, Hideo Kojima visited 20th Century Fox. The legendary designer has always been spotted travelling around, but the tweet, with him pictured with Alien stuff and a reply from the Game Awards may be hinting at something.
An announcement of a new Alien game, perhaps?
World will change!

The last two Alien games were done under Sega. One was a catastrophe (Aliens: Colonial Marines) and the other was unexpected gem (Alien: Isolation). The game rights are now back with Fox and early this year the company has established a new gaming arm, FoxNext Games.
FoxNext Games acquired Cold Iron Studios to work on a new Alien game. This new Alien game will have “an action-packed persistent world, steeped in the mysteries of this beloved Alien universe.”
To add more to the rumours and speculation, a new trademark for the name Alien: Blackout was spotted, said to be covered for use on computer games.
So, we may or may not see the reveal of a new Alien game, possibly titled Alien: Blackout, at the Game Awards 2018.
This is all rumours and speculation, so take it with a grain of salt for now. It won’t be long until we find out if it’s true as the Game Awards is set to happen on December 6th.
