Dinosaur Polo Club announced that the next map to be added to its traffic-management puzzler Mini Motorways will be a map featured in the indie dev’s previous game, the public transport puzzler Mini Metro.
But there is a twist. To determine which map gets the nod, the devs are leaving it up to you, the players, and vote your choice.
There are 30 maps to choose from in the nomination phase and they are the following:

- Hong Kong
- Barcelona
- Osaka
- Stockholm
- Boston
- Montreal
- San Francisco
- Sao Paolo
- Seoul
- Santiago
- Washington DC

- Cairo
- Istanbul
- Shanghai
- Guangzhou
- Nanjing
- Chongqing
- Mumbai
- Addis Ababa
- Lagos
- Auckland
The first round of two, nomination votes are open now where you get to pick what map should be shortlisted as the top four maps for the next round. Round one of voting is now live.
In round two, players can vote for the top four shortlisted maps that should be added to Mini Motorways. Round two of voting begins on April 29.
Voting must be done on the official site here. Votes must be submitted once. And the devs reserve the right to have the final choice on which Mini Metro map goes to Mini Motorways- should there “unforeseen complications might arise” which caused the map with the winning vote unable to added to Mini Motorways. The new Mini Motorways map from Mini Metro will be added as a free update for all platforms (PC and Mac via Steam, Switch, Apple Arcade).
The winner of the voting will be announced on May 8th alongside “a big announcement”.
Previously, Mini Motorways added Busan as a new map in a free update.
