11-11: Memories Retold Is Narrative Adventure Game Set In World War I, Releases On November 9th In Southeast Asia

Bandai Namco announced an interesting collaboration with animation studios Aardman and developers DigixArt for a new game. Called 11-11: Memories Retold, it’s a story of various perspectives during World War I.

The trailer below shows off its very unique artstyle. No, it’s not YouTube playing it at 360p, the artsyle is intentionally blurry and muddy, in a good way. Elijah Wood is among the voice cast for the game.

If this sounds similar to Valiant Hearts, which also took place in World War I with a gut-wrenching tale, then it should be. DigixArt were formed by former members of Ubisoft that also worked on that indie title.

11-11: Memories Retold will be out on November 9th in Southeast Asia for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
