Wreckfest Brings Homage To Their Developer’s First Game In Their Newest Tournament Update

Bugbear Entertainment, the creators of Wreckfest, has been reminiscing of the good old days where racing games were quite different. This newest update sees them returning to their first game, a rally simulator that becomes the basis of the Flatout series later on. And that game is Rally Trophy.

This update sees them celebrating their 20th anniversary of the game’s launch with a special tournament event that sees the player taking on one of the game’s iconic stage but with the added catch that you won’t have a co-driver to help you. You’ll be also be given a car, a Boomer RS, that’s essentially is the cover car of Rally Trophy to do this event in. In short, quite a nostalgic trip fill update.

This update for Wreckfest is now live on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
