World War Z, the surprisingly good co-op zombie shooter, gets a new DLC, alongside of the announcement of a GOTY edition.
The DLC adds a new episode, 3 PvE missions in the new map of Marseille, France. The map is all-new, with a new set of characters and a new story to follow.
This is the first DLC map for the game. But good thing is, according to the Playstation Blog post, only the host player needs to own the DLC if you want to play the Marseille episode in multiplayer. Not everyone in your friends list should have it.
Alongside that, World War Z is also getting a GOTY edition, which includes the Marseille episode, plus all other paid DLCs- character and weapon packs. Of course it also includes all the free updates, which added PC-Xbox One cross-play and a proper Horde Mode.
World War Z GOTY edition and the Marseille episode DLC will be out later today, May 5th, for the PS4, PC (Epic Games Store), and Xbox One.
