Samsung Malaysia announced a contest, with the reward being the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Gaming Monitor worth RM9,499.
This is as part of its #DefyReality contest, where participants have to post a “lightning-fast 30-second video of yourself preparing to level up for an ultimate gaming battle”. Essentially, make a TikTok-worthy post, but on Facebook.
Here are the full rules of the #DefyReality contest:
- Take a lightning-fast 30-second video of yourself preparing to level up for an ultimate gaming battle whether at home or with your gaming kakis.
- Upload the video on your Facebook page with a unique caption on ‘How you think the Odyssey Neo G9 will raise your gaming experience to the next level’.
- Tag @samsungmalaysia and use #SamsungOdysseyMY and @SamsungDefyReality hashtags in your posting, and make sure to set your Facebook profile to public.
- Participants will be judged based on their creativity and originality.
The contest is open for all Malaysians 18 and above, and is running right now until December 10.
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor is an ultra-wide 49″ monitor with Quantum HDR 2000 support, curved at 1000R, has a 240Hz refresh rate, and supports “DQHD” resolution (that’s 5120x 1440, essentially two 1440p/QHD). Specs-wise, it’s a ridiculously powerful gaming monitor as its retail price suggests.
