Where Winds Meet Now Has More Than 15 Million Players

The jianghu continues to see more wanderers as Everstone Studio and NetEase Games announce that Where Winds Meet now has more than 15 million players, all in under a month, bumping the previous reported player numbers at over 9 million in the first two weeks of launch.

The free-to-play wuxia open world action-adventure RPG is now available on mobile, which has shot to the No.1 spot on the App Store free charts in 60 countries.

The game has since recently added Brazilian Portuguese localisation, increasing the total language support for Where Winds Meet to 9. The other supported languages include English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, French and Latin American Spanish.

Where Winds Meet recently received a new content update, version 1.1, adding the final region in Kaifeng which also includes a new campaign (linear story mission that caps with a boss fight, the latter repeatable afterwards) and a world boss. Also, the Velvet Shade sect is now joinable once you completed that one Jianghu Legacy (side story) quest. If you’re still in Qinghe, now’s a good time to start beelining the main story.

Moreover, there will be an in-game fireworks event in Where Winds Meet between December 31 to January 1, to celebrate the new year.

Where Winds Meet is out now on PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, standalone launcher) and mobile (iOS, Android), with support for cross-play and cross-progression. Check out our review of the game here.
