We Love Katamari Damacy Reroll+ Royal Reverie Out Now

We Love Katamari Damacy Reroll+ Royal Reverie, the remaster of We Love Katamari, is out now.

We Love Katamari was the 2005 sequel to Bandai Namco’s one-of-a-kind video game Katamari Damacy. We Love Katamari follows up the rolling adventures of the Prince and his many cousins. They are tasked once again by the King Of All Cosmos to roll up multiple Katamaris and this time backed by newfound fans of Katamari Damacy.

The simple gameplay of rolling a ball around with an unconventional yet intuitive control scheme to gather up various household objects of various sizes is here again. The sequel adds more things to do, bigger objects to roll (if you can believe it, after seeing what the ending of the first game did), and more modes including local multiplayer.

New to the Reroll+ remaster is the Royal Reverie mode. This adds more levels where you play as the King when he was just a little prince, rolling up Katamari for his father who is, as you can imagine, just as uptight and strict as he is to the Prince. There’s also a photo mode.

Plus, the game launch also includes a paid DLC that adds 25 songs from the Katamari Damacy series, including sequels of We Love Katamari.

This release will be the first time We Love Katamari is available outside of the PS2 original.

We Love Katamari is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
