Watch Dogs: Legion Free To Try This Weekend, Also On Sale

If you’re not sold on whether Watch Dogs: Legion is worth your money, Ubisoft is opening a free trial for the open-world game this weekend.

From today until March 29, anyone can download and play Watch Dogs: Legion on PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

You’ll be able to explore half of the London open-world (four boroughs of eight are explorable) and you can play all the single-player missions up to the Skye Larsen mission. This is quite the generous chunk of game for a free trial, they stop right before you see arguably the best mission in the game.

You’ll also be able to play the new Online mode, which is now available on all platforms and includes the Tactical Ops missions.

Progress of the game will be carried over to the full game. Online mode has cross-save, whereas the main campaign progress will carry over only on the same platform.

Watch Dogs: Legion is also 50% off too during this period if you want to pick it up. It’s still another one of those open-world games you’ve played before, but it’s play as any NPC gimmick makes for some fun emergent gameplay you don’t see that often in other AAA games, which is why we rated it highly in our review.
