Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York Is A Telltale-Style Narrative Experience

If you’re a fan of the World Of Darkness IP or the Vampire: The Masquerade series, boy are you getting tons of love this year. Aside from Paradox’s Bloodlines 2 and a narrative adventure by the developers of The Council, there is another Vampire: The Masquerade game.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is developed by Draw Distance and is more of a Telltale-style narrative experience. Taking place in New York, you get to pick a character from three Camarilla clans (none of which has been revealed) each with different disciplines (vampire powers) and dialogue lines.

There’s a focus on building your coterie- your gang or posse essentially- made up of various NPCs you can interact with. And a plotline which focuses on the different sects- the Camarilla versus the Anarchs.

If you have no idea of Vampire lore, the game is designed to be both faithful to fans of the tabletop (It is following the V5 ruleset) and newcomers alike.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will be out on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch sometime later this year- Q4 2019.
