Valnir Rok is an online survival RPG based on Norse mythology. There’s animals to hunt, bloody combat to engage with other players, and villages you can help build and improve. Think Ark Survival Evolved but with vikings. It’s currently in Steam Early Access with feature additions and fixes being added from time to time.
Developers Encurio has updated Valnir Rok with a new feature: a church. The church serves as a peace area where no combat is allowed to take place, so you can take a break in the safe haven if you had enough fighting, or low on health. The monks in the church also provide free gifts to visitors.
Alongside that, here are a few more additions to Valnir Rok’s latest update:
New:
- Added church and monks with a peaceful area to Valnir
- Added death spawn points to be able to get faster to certain spots
- French translation of the game (Alpha/WIP)
Fixes:
- Updated item weights
- Fixed some world errors (holes etc.)
- Fixed a few UI issues
- Fixed some shaders
- Minor fixes in code
Improvements:
- Changed some recipes like Workbench (now easier to get)
- Added “Shift+Drag” and “Ctrl+Click” for splitting icons in UI (text)
- Rebalanced loot and drop rates
- Reduced loot in cities a lot
- Reduced amount of animals
- Replaced some creatures
- Updated sky and atmospheric scattering
Valnir Rok is in Steam Early Access right now for RM38.
