Sega’s strategy RPG in a fatastical fictional World War II setting is finally getting a proper sequel on current generation of consoles.
Valkyria Chronicles began as a PS3 title before being ported to PC and then the PS4. The series then was only made for the PSP, with the third game never seeing an official English release. After the success of the new ports of the original game, the fourth entry of the game is now in development.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 will take the battle into snowy winter during the timeframe of the first game, now focusing on the new Squad E led by Commander Claude Wallace. The beautiful water painting visuals remain and it is looking better than ever.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be out for the PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2018.
