The fourth DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and the last to be included with the Season Pass, has arrived. Shattering Specterglass brings in the usual new content addition like the other three DLCs (which compared to other offerings from the Borderlands series, is rather meagre). But developers Gearbox Software did save the best for last, a new class.
The new class, Blightcaller, specialises in elemental damage, specifically poison. From recharging Ward by killing foes and dishing out the Plaguestorm dealing damage over time over an area, this class really amps the damage of any elemental attacks. Also, this is another class where you can have a companion.
With Wonderlands’ multi-class system, you can have any character you made right now to have the Blightcaller as their subclass and try it out.
If you’re creating a new character, the Fatemaker customisation also added four new backstories to choose from, which gives a tiny bit of flavour in the form of minor stat changes. The new backstories are:
- Nerfed by the Bunkermaster
- Clownblood
- Apprentice Barnacle Scraper
- Street Urchin Success Story
In addition, a new voice personality is added as well, Grim.
As for the main content of the Shattering Spectreglass DLC, you will be taking down Redmourne the Trivern that can regenerate elemental-spewing heads.
New Legendary loot and new cosmetics are also can drop from taking down the boss, as random drops, or from Vesper’s Wheel Of Fate.
The boss fight and four level layouts that make up the main DLC playthrough will be added to the endgame mode Chaos Chamber as well.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is out now on the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can find our review of the base game here.
