The Overwatch League is definitely a thing now, and its preseason exhibition matches will commence today. This will be the first time we get to see the newly assembled teams representing 12 different cities across the world play against each other.
(Except the Philadelphia Fusion, which had to miss the preseason due to “logistical issues“.)
The first three matches for today (Thursday December 7) will see San Francisco Shock playing two of them, one against the Florida Mayhem at 8AM Malaysian time (+8 GMT) and then face off against the Los Angeles Valiant at 10AM. The two teams from Asian cities, Seoul Dynasty and Shanghai Dragons will face off at 12PM.
The next day starts a bit earlier and will see the other six teams playing with the Los Angeles Gladiators versus London Spitfire opening the day at the 6AM slot. The battle of Texas teams, Dallas Fuel and Houston Outlaws will commence at 8AM and the eastern US teams New York Excelsior and Boston Uprising battle it out at 10AM.
There will be three matches held in Saturday and Sunday, with the teams to play still yet to be confirmed. You can watch the Overwatch League preseason over at its official site or on Activision’s MLG site.
