A Lord Of The Rings game got a spotlight at the Summer Game Fest 2023 showcase. Developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games got to show the first gameplay trailer for The Lord Of The Rings: Return To Moria.
In this game, players play as the Dwarves as they journey into the Mines of Moria. Players create their own custom Fwarf and can play solo or together in multiplayer.
The gameplay has you do a bit of base building where you can create various structures from scratch, or continue building off the ruins. But the goal here is to explore the mines and survive. Expect to do some fighting, finding magical artifacts and loot, and do a bit of mining.

The Lord Of The Rings: Return To Moria is targeting a release in Fall 2023, so later this year, on PC via the Epic Games Store as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
