Nacon and KT Racing has been working hard to mend their MMOCARPG, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, into something that their fans could be excited about. And Season 3 looks set to be their fruits of labor being fulfilled.
This latest season comes after a lengthy delay between the release of the Ibiza map and the start of the next season which was supposed to be the addition of Clan Wars (a PVP racing mode), but that has been delayed to make way for the return of Transporter Missions, where players are given a fast hypercar to be delivered towards a location in one piece, which is easier said than done.
They are also adding in a Solo Racing mode, where you can go straight to a race without needed to wait for other players, along with the ability to pause and restart the race at any time. This coincide with them finally adding a Difficulty slider after listening to the feedback from the community, with it sliding from Novice, the easiest AI rivals, to Expert, for those who still love racing with its brutally hard AI with higher rewards.
And with a new Navigation mode Time Trial (that’s also similar to Forza Horizon’s Freeroam Rush mode) also being added that sees players going to one point of the map to another in any route you want, this seems like a beefy Seasonal update for players to comeback for.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 3 is set to launch on March 19. The game is available now on PS5, Xbox Series Consoles and PC.
