Tencent Games announced that they are launching a new publishing label for the global market, Level Infinite.
“Level Infinite’s launch represents the next stage in Tencent Games’ evolution as a global publisher and trusted brand,” said Tencent Games global CEO Michelle Liu. “We look forward to bringing gamers high-quality titles wherever and however they play.”
Level Infinite will be bringing games from developers in China to a global release, while supporting titles by other studios, some of which are studios Tencent have made an investment in.
The games to be published by Level Infinite includes the following:
- Arena Of Valor, TiMi Studio Group
- Don’t Starve: Newhome (mobile), Shenqu Games
- Synced: Off Planet, NExT Studios
- Other Lightspeed & Quantum Studios titles
- Other TiMi Studio Group titles
As for games with support by Level Infinite are the following:
- Conan Chop Chop, Mighty Kingdom/ Funcom
- GTFO, 10 Chambers
- Metal:Hellsinger, The Outsiders/ Funcom
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Fatshark
- Warhammer: Vermintide II, Fatshark
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, Sharkmob
Most of the mobile games, like Arena Of Valor and the many, many titles by TiMi Studio Group are available in Southeast Asia through a partnership with local publisher Garena currently.
Level Infinite is based in Amsterdam and Singapore, with staff from around the world.
The big publishers in China are now making a global push it looks like. NetEase Games are also making moves in the global market, where they recently announced the acquisition of Grasshopper Manufacture.
