Sam & Max began as a LucasArts point-and-click adventure, and it also went on to receive a Telltale game, delivered in episodic form.
While Telltale is no more, their game, Sam & Max Save The World (or Sam & Max Season 1 as first titled) is getting remastered. This is done by Skunkape Games, a company of ex-Telltale employees. The company has secured the Sam & Max license- Sam & Max Season 2 and Season 3 are all listed on Steam under them now.
The remaster will be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on December 2, with a discount price for owners of the original Season 1 release.
