Streets Of Rage 4, a new entry on Sega’s long-dormant beat-’em-up series, has finally got a release date.
The sequel is being developed by three different indie teams. DotEmu, famous for porting old games for modern platforms like Windjammers. Lizardcube, the folks behind the fantastic remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake. And Guard Crush, the developers of amazingly competent beat-’em up Streets Of Fury.
Streets Of Rage 4 has received a new trailer, showcasing the Battle Mode. Something seen in Streets Of Rage 2 and 3, it’s a PvP mode that turns it into a fighting game. Perfect to settle scores with friends after going through the campaign.
Streets Of Rage 4 will be out on April 30th for the PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
