Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Gets One Last Demo On Console, Save Data Carries Over To Full Game

At last week’s State Of Play broadcast, we got to see one more gameplay trailer for Square Enix and Koei Tecmo’s upcoming soulslike action-RPG Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. This is developed by Team Ninja, the folks that brought us Nioh and Nioh 2.

The trailer also revealed that you can try out a demo, the third and final one, ahead of the game’s release on March 18. The demo is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (no PC demo, unfortunately).

The demo has you explore Pravoka Seagrot and the Western Keep. There are multiple new jobs, previously unseen in the past two demos, and multiplayer (up to three players) is available. Multiplayer in Stranger Of Paradise has limited cross-play, only between the same console family (PS4 with PS5, Xbox One with Xbox Series X|S only).

More importantly, save data from this demo will carry over to the main game. So essentially, this is the starting portion of the game that is being given out as part of this demo.

For those who want to embark on this wild journey of Jack Garland and his merry companions as they kill Chaos that seemingly sets up the world of Final Fantasy (which the title seems to allude to), you can jump on in right now. The demo is available on PlayStation Store Asia (PS4, PS5) right now.

Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be out on March 18 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
