SteelSeries has launched the Arctis Nova 5 gaming headset, now available in Malaysia.
This new entry to the Nova line of headsets is designed for use on gaming consoles, though it’s also compatible with PC, mobile and VR devices. It’s a wireless headset (2.4GHz wireless connection) with a USB-C dongle, so long as there’s a USB-C port, it should play nice. It can also connect via Bluetooth 5.3.
(The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 isn’t compatible with Xbox Series consoles, just the PS5. However, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X does support Xbox as well as all other platforms, it has a bigger dongle but specs-wise is basically the same as a Nova 5 headset.)
SteelSeries is touting its Nova 5 companion app, which not only has over 100+ game-specific audio presets, but it also can switch to the correct presets on the fly. These presets are tuned by audio engineers, esports pros and game developers. The The headset sound can be further tuned using the Sonar Audio Software Suite, a free app on PC.
The Nova 5 headset comes with a ClearCast 2.X mic built in and a 60-hour battery life.
If a wireless gaming headset with a pretty long battery life and compatible across all your devices sounds appealing to you, you can get one now, available in Malaysia.
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 gaming headset retails at RM699 and is available at SteelSeries official stores at Shopee and Lazada.
