Draw Distance’s sequel to Serial Cleaner, Serial Cleaners, has picked up a publisher. 505 Games will be publishing Serial Cleaners, set to be released in 2022.
Serial Cleaner was set in the 70s where you play as a janitor that cleans a scene of murder(s), and does so discreetly without getting caught. Think Metal Gear Solid’s stealth-action gameplay but you’re wiping blood and hiding dead bodies someone else left for you to handle.
Serial Cleaners the sequel is set 20 years later in the 90s, now with a new art style inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat’s street art and postmodernism and a selection of four different cleaners each with different abilities.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to join forces with our new partner,” said Michał Mielcarek, CEO at Draw Distance. “505 Games is a publisher with a diverse portfolio of quality titles. Serial Cleaners joining this list makes us proud, and we’re looking forward to a great campaign followed by bringing our 90s stealth-action crime story to the global market together.”
“When we evaluate a game, our process generally boils down to some key points, nearly always those points include: ‘Is the game fun?’ and ‘Are the developers talented?’ In the case of Serial Cleaners and Draw Distance, the answer to both was a resounding ‘YES,'” Neil Ralley, President of 505 Games, said. “We’re thrilled to bring this game to the public and work with Michal and his team.”

The announcement also reveals the cleaner Latisha “Lati” Thomas. Lati’s the agile one of the four cleaners, she can jump climb and push obstacles. Instead of hiding from the cops, she can outrun them.
Serial Cleaners is set for release on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) and on consoles in 2022.
