Star Wars: Squadrons, The Cross-Platform Dogfighting Game Announced For Later This Year

If you’ve ever thought to yourself you wanted to play Star Wars Battlefront but only the piloting segments, you might be interested in Star Wars: Squadrons.

Taking place after the events of Return of The Jedi, Star Wars: Squadrons has you in the cockpit of either the Rebellion or the Galactic Empire as you fulfil all sorts of fantasies and fly iconic Star Wars vehicles such as the X-Wing and TIE fighter.

While the trailer itself didn’t show any gameplay, EA has revealed that the game will have several important features to bring balance to wary fans.

These features include cross-platform multiplayer, VR support as well as customization for your ships.

Excited fans can expect a gameplay reveal at the EA Play Live event this June 18th, ahead of the game’s release on the 2nd of October this year on PS4, XBox One and PC.

EA has neither confirmed nor deny next-gen releases of the game.
