Spyro Reignited Trilogy Sales Pass 10 Million

It’s been a while since the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the three-in-one remake of the first three Spyro The Dragon games. And since the game’s launch in 2018, the game has sold over 10 million copies

The Spyro The Dragon Twitter announced that milestone, achieved since five years since launch. The numbers are derived from reports from digital sales, retail partners and “Activision internal estimates”.

Still, it’s an impressive feat for the little purple dragon that once used to be a PlayStation mascot and may later be an Xbox one once Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard goes through.

While fellow mascot platfomer Crash Bandicoot has received a new sequel and a weird team-based multiplayer game that isn’t a remake of Crash Bash after its successful remake trilogy, there seems to be nothing in store for Spyro as for now. Unless there is an announcement to be made following this little bit of news.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is out now on PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
