Spyro Reignited Trilogy Charges To The Nintendo Switch On September 3rd

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Originally launched on PS4 and Xbox One, this 3-in-1 remaster/remake of the original Spyro The Dragon trilogy on the PS1 will now be on the Switch as well.

Pre-orders are also live on the Nintendo eShop starting today.

If you’re not familiar with Spyro The Dragon, think of it as Playstation’s answer to Super Mario 64 back then. It’s a series of collect-a-thon platformers where you collect various items to progress through the many open-ended levels, all connected by a hub world.

It’s pretty good, and the faithful remake does the series justice, as our review stated.

Activision has previously brought the other PS1 mascot platformer remake, the Crash N. Sane Trilogy, to Switch and PC. So this move is expected, and a welcomed one.
