Sonic The Hedgehog is racing around the world this year, and even into other games.
Developer Gameloft announced the new collab event for its racing game Asphalt Legends Unite features the blue blur himself and his entourage of colourful characters.
From May 29 to June 26, players can play the new Collector Mode where you race to collect gold rings, as you would in a Sonic game. And yes, it even makes the iconic sound when you get those rings.
In addition, some of music from Sonic’s expansive library of bangers will make its way to Asphalt Legends Unit for this event, though music availability is varied by platform, for some reason.
Participate in the event to collect gold rings to be used to purchase limited-time vehicle decals. The decal for Chao on the DS s-Tense is free for everyone, but the rest you’ll have to earn them.
