The current generation has introduced one key feature that PlayStation has pretty much nailed on launch: sharing content to social media. The PS4 Share button is so ubiquitous now, even Nintendo has a screenshot button on the Switch, and now Xbox following suit with the new Xbox wireless controller.
Not only that, on Xbox, sharing screenshots and video clips should be much easier than it was with the previous wireless controller sported on the Xbox One. A press of the share button (sit between and just below the menu and guide buttons) takes a screenshot, hold starts a clip recording and double tap brings you to the library.
Sharing to social media can be done from the console, or through the new Xbox app.
If that sounds a lot like how the PS4 is doing it, it probably is. The original method on Xbox is much more cumbersome. So it’s still an improvement.
