See F1 and F2 Cars Go Racing In Latest F1 2020 Gameplay Trailer

The F1 2020 game by Codemasters has a new trailer, showcasing the full grid of open-wheelers go racing, to the tune of the F1 theme.

It’s the first gameplay trailer for the game to show cars racing- previous showcases like for the new Circuit Zandvoort are time trials of a single car.

The 2020 F1 cars have been faithfully recreated. Well, some are. It’s still a work in progress- and the Mercedes is still using the template F1 chassis for now. They have implemented the new Racing Point (which is largely similar to last year’s Mercedes) and Renault that sports that new nose cone design.

F2, the junior series and stepping stone to F1, also gets a showcase here. This time they are fully integrated into the Career Mode, which now lets you be the extra 11th team and manage it your own way as well. On launch, it will feature the 2019 F2 grid, with the 2020 season of drivers and teams coming later as a free update.

Codemasters also confirmed that there will be 16 classic F1 cars for F1 2020. This is excluding the four new F1 cars driven by Michael Schumacher, which is part of the Deluxe Schumacher Edition.

The 16 classic cars are as follows:

  • 2010 Red Bull RB6
  • 2010 Ferrari F10
  • 2010 McLaren MP4-25
  • 2009 Brawn BGP 001
