The latest season for Blizzard’s Hero Shooter, Overwatch 2, has begun which includes some fairly interesting surprises that includes Doomfist, Hanzo and Mercy being stars in their own packs, two of which are even in a different game.
Seasons 3 sees Antarctica getting a Control map (which originally its just an Arcade mode map), sees it becoming a part of the map rotation of the Objective base modes, and could be apart of the upcoming Overwatch World Cup.
This season will also see skins that are based on Asian Mythology, with all of it unlockable on this season’s Battle Pass, which when completed, with see players getting a new Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic skin.
But that’s not all, since February is also the month of Valentines, there will be an Ultimate Valentine’s Event which includes a Non-Canon Dating Sim where you can date either Genji or Mercy, with help from Cupid (who DOES look like Hanzo), where if you completed it with the secret ending, you can get a unique Hanzo POTG Highlight.
There’s also the upcoming One Punch Man collab coming in March, where it is the first anime collaboration for the series, which sees Doomfist donning the Saitama special skin. Plus the return of the PachiMarchi event later in March as well.
That’s does it for Season 3 for Overwatch 2, which has started and will last till April 4. The game is available for all platforms.
