Season 2 Of COD Warzone Sees A New Resurgence Map Set in Japan

After announcing a delay to the 2nd season of Multiplayer and Warzone, Activision has showcase one of the new maps that players can explore beginning on February 15, a new Resurgences map called Ashika Island.

For those uninitiated, the Resurgence maps are the more casual side of the Warzone gameplay, where you can get unlimited respawns during a play, as long as your teammates can last during the 60 sec that sees you returning back into the game.

Previously, this game mode only has two different era appropriate map from previous games (Rebirth Island from the Black Ops series and Fortune’s Keep based on the levels in COD Vanguard), so this follows the style of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, which is very welcomed.

Plus the Tarkov-lite mode, DMZ, is going to also coming to Ashika Island, so there is lots to do on this seaside Japanese location.

As such, Season 2 of the Multplayer and Warzone 2.0 for Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2022) is set to launch on 15 February for all platforms.
